Awaken in a dying world. You are a Husk, cursed with invincibility. To defeat endless hordes and regain your power, you must become vulnerable and expose your soul. Loot, level up, and choose the devastating skills you need to reclaim your eminence.

Controls: 
WASD - Move
E - Interact
Spacebar - Toggle Invincibility/Vulnerability
Left Click - Basic Attack

This proof of concept is inspired by everything I love about dark fantasy games and rougelites. **KNOWN BUGS** - This game was made in 9 days for the GameName Game Jam. Bugs include but are not limited to:
- Having to click more than once to select an option
- Collision. Anything to do with it really.
- Obsidian Aura's visual effect not updating between runs
- Some VFX and procedural spawning issues
- Music stopping abruptly
- Base speed and health not resetting on death
- Settings Menu Inputs

Fun facts about this project:
-Made in Unreal Engine 5, optimized to 700+ fps on a high-end rig
-Solo developed
-Made in 9 days over 68 hours (scheduling conflicts)
-The "retro" look is not post processing. The project is actually modified to lower resolutions/tech in order to achieve that natural look
-Not my first game, definitely my first game jam!
